Login Page Templates

Unlike many implementations of GridGuard, the mod_auth_pubtkt implementation doesn't come with any landing web pages to enter your username. GridGuard has provided some stock login page templates for customers to use. You can find them on the Syferlock Support site http://support.syferlock.com/

Updating the template

After you have download the templates, you will need to make a few changes to the template to customize it for your environment.

Unzip the template file and open the config.php file in the text editor of your choice. You will need to edit all of the variables that affect you. The comments within the config.php file should guide you. Once you are done, save the file and make sure updated config.php is updated in the templates zip file too.

Uploading the Template

Uploading the Template

After you have completed the template customizations, you will need to upload it to your GridGuard-VA appliance.

In the ACC, expand the Localization tree on the left had side of the screen.

Then click on the Web Pages section.

Now in this section we can upload the template.

First you need to define the target path. The path you define is just a portion of the complete URL. The complete URL will be http://{GridGuard Hostname/web/{Target Path}.

Then click on choose and select the template zip file you updated.

Then click 'Upload.'

You should then see the URL for that custom template available in the above list.
